IT Business Analyst - Functional - Edgewood

- Serve as a vital liaison between the Finance department, IT teams, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document and enhance business processes, identifying areas for improvement - Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for Oracle Fusions modules such as GL, AP, and Cash Management - Participate in comprehensive testing, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing performance of financial applications to ensure data integrity and compliance - Lead discovery workshops and design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes and facilitate the testing and deployment of new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work with developers to validate designs and address root causes of system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing, ensuring alignment with accounting standards - Develop and maintain documentation, training guides, and support materials - Provide training to end-users to ensure process adoption and compliance - Enforce IT governance and data security standards in Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of transactional data - Collaborate with vendors and auditors to support required integrations and controls
