IT Business Analyst - Functional - Dieterich

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify pain points, and propose system and process enhancements - Act as the main liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion-related initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in end-to-end testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and implementations of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for persistent system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring system processes align with accounting principles and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Deliver end-user training and support to encourage adoption and adherence to standardized business processes - Aid in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing - Liaise with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure effective cross-module and cross-platform data flow
