IT Business Analyst - Functional - Charleston

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest system and process enhancements. - Act as the main liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion-related projects. - Analyze and interpret business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications. - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors. - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and the implementation of new features, integrations, or improvements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems. - Work closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring that system operations align with accounting principles and deadlines. - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials. - Provide end-user training and support to ensure compliance with standardized business processes. - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications. - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review. - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely transactional data processing. - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support systems integrations, controls, and audit requirements. - Work alongside other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms.
