IT Business Analyst - Functional - Champaign

- Serve as the primary liaison among Finance, IT, and external partners to enhance business processes and technology solutions - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document processes, identify challenges, and recommend improvements - Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, ensuring data integrity and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with teams - Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analyses for recurring errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, ensuring processes meet accounting standards - Develop and maintain documentation, functional process flows, and training guides for users - Provide training and support to ensure adherence to established business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare performance reports and updates for management review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate data and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
