IT Business Analyst - Functional - Cerro Gordo

- Act as a vital liaison between Rural Kings Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to map business processes, identify challenges, and propose system and process enhancements - Serve as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle application partners for Oracle Fusion-related projects - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Organize requirements workshops and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting principles - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Deliver training to end-users to ensure adherence to standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely transactions - Work with vendors and auditors to support integrations and compliance requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across modules and platforms
