IT Business Analyst - Functional - Casey

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Act as the primary point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion projects - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and more - Engage in complete testing processes, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Oversee and assess system performance, data quality, and compliance within financial software - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design conversations with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration updates and testing for new functionalities and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Aid in month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional flows, and user training materials - Provide training and support to end-users to encourage compliance with standardized processes - Assist in implementing IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for review by leadership - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timely data processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and partners to meet integration, control, and audit needs - Work with other IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across modules and platforms
