IT Business Analyst - Functional - Brownstown

- Act as a key liaison between Rural Kings Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and implementation of new features, integrations, or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Work with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and timelines - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to encourage compliance with standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure transactional data accuracy and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit needs - Work closely with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure smooth cross-module data flow
