IT Business Analyst - Functional - Bondville

- Act as a vital link between the Finance team, IT department, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document workflows, identify challenges, and propose improvements - Serve as the primary contact for Finance stakeholders and IT on Oracle Fusion-related projects - Translate business needs into detailed specifications for modules in Oracle Fusion, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead requirements workshops and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support the configuration, testing, and rollout of new features and integrations in Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring issues - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting practices - Create and maintain documentation, functional process flows, and training materials for users - Provide end-user training and support to ensure compliance with standardized processes - Enforce IT governance and data security policies across Finance applications - Prepare reports on system health and issues for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate and timely data processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to meet integration and audit requirements - Work with other IT teams to ensure seamless data flow across different modules and platforms
