IT Business Analyst - Functional - Bethany

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance organization, IT teams, and external partners regarding Oracle Fusion initiatives - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify issues, and propose enhancements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in end-to-end testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Partner with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting principles and timelines - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Uphold IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactional data processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams to facilitate smooth cross-module and cross-platform data flow
