IT Business Analyst - Functional - Beecher City

- Serve as a key liaison between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners to improve and support accounting and financial operations - Document business processes with the Accounting, Finance, and AP teams, identifying pain points and suggesting improvements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in various testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Oversee system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes and testing of new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs and address root cause issues - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting standards - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide training and support to end-users to promote compliance with standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare reports on system health and issue summaries for leadership review - Coordinate with various teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing of transactional data - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to facilitate integrations and audit requirements - Work with other IT application teams to ensure efficient data flow across platforms
