IT Business Analyst - Functional - Atwood

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, pinpoint challenges, and recommend enhancements - Act as the main liaison among Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing phases - Monitor ongoing system performance, ensure data integrity, and guarantee compliance within financial applications - Lead requirements workshops and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and rollouts of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers and architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause assessments for recurring system errors - Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting standards and deadlines - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and training materials - Provide end-user training and support for the standardization and compliance of business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security measures across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to assure transaction accuracy and timely processing - Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data transfer
