IT Business Analyst - Functional - Ashmore

- Serve as a vital liaison between Rural King’s Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document business processes, identify issues, and suggest improvements - Lead as the primary contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS for initiatives related to Oracle Fusion - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for persistent system errors - Assist during month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting principles and deadlines - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to ensure compliance with standardized processes - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Work with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
