IT Business Analyst - Functional - Altamont

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document current business processes, identify challenges, and propose system improvements. - Act as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle implementation partners on Oracle Fusion-related projects. - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration and user acceptance testing. - Monitor ongoing system performance, data accuracy, and compliance within financial applications. - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal staff and vendors. - Support configuration changes and testing for new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems. - Work together with developers to validate designs, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system issues. - Assist in ensuring alignment between system processes and accounting principles during month-end and year-end financial closes. - Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials. - Provide end-user training and support to ensure compliance with standardized business processes. - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications. - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership. - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and partners to meet integration and compliance requirements.
