IT Business Analyst - Functional

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and propose enhancements - Act as the main liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion-related projects - Analyze and convert business needs into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing phases including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and implementation of new features, integrations, or improvements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis of recurring problems - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting standards and timelines - Create and update system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Conduct end-user training and support to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive briefings for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing of transactions - Engage with vendors, auditors, and business partners to meet integration, control, and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to facilitate seamless data flow across modules and platforms
