Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in IT or a related field preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
- Over 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication skills, able to clarify technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong customer service skills characterized by patience and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and prioritize incoming support requests via phone, email, and our ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist users with password resets, account lockouts, and basic access rights
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new hires
- Oversee equipment deployment and retrieval during onboarding and offboarding
- Conduct basic hardware diagnostics and arrange warranty repairs
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies
- Address basic network connectivity challenges, including VPN, Wi-Fi, and wired connections
- Assist remote staff with connectivity problems
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support
