Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce development
- Experience in API development
- Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (1 year preferred)
- Three years of Salesforce Administration experience
- Strong preference for candidates with Power BI, JIRA, Omniscripts/Vlocity, Mulesoft, or GitHub
- Relevant Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I or II
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement custom Salesforce solutions
- Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce products
- Maintain and develop integrations between Salesforce and other state systems using APIs and middleware
- Manage Salesforce security and access controls effectively
- Understand Salesforce administration functionalities
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced developers
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the states medical cannabis software system
- Conduct regular system maintenance including upgrades and performance tuning
- Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Document technical designs, code, and configurations clearly
- Work in an agile development environment

We are Rose International, seeking a dedicated Salesforce Developer to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for two days in-office and three days remote each week. You will be part of a project that supports our clients public-facing software system, essential for medical cannabis patient and provider registrations.
