Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
- Experience in a Quality or Manufacturing position within a dynamic environment, including internships
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis
- Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with technical presentation capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High self-drive and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and resolve complex issues
- Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards
- Willingness to work in both office and manufacturing settings
- Preparedness for up to 20% travel, domestically or internationally
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports for the Quality Division
- Lead or assist in the Customer New Model Development approval process, facilitating communication among cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with diverse teams to expedite compliance resolutions and prevent recurrence of issues
- Act as a liaison with the Global Team to disseminate information throughout the organization
- Utilize knowledge of Quality Systems, Tools, and Documentation within the manufacturing context
- Lead the certification process for IATF16949
- Manage documentation processes effectively
- Schedule and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with organizational quality standards
- Communicate KPIs and provide regular reports to Management and cross-functional teams
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Fire regulations
- Promote a work culture that emphasizes quality, communication, collaboration, and teamwork
- Maintain workspace cleanliness in line with 5S standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Execute various additional duties and projects as assigned
