Requirements

Must:
- Associate or bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related discipline preferred. - Equivalent combinations of education, training, and professional experience are acceptable. - Instructional design or training certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD/CPLP, Kirkpatrick, or similar) are advantageous. - 3-5 years of instructional design, technical writing, or relevant experience preferred. - Strong expertise in creating eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), blended learning solutions, and certification programs. - Proven capability to produce high-quality, polished learning assets within stipulated timelines while ensuring accuracy and instructional integrity. - Proficient in instructional design tools and learning management systems (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Adobe Learning Manager, Cornerstone, or similar), with a readiness to learn new technologies. - Experience with knowledge base and collaboration platforms (e.g., Zendesk, SharePoint, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools). - Advanced competencies in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or comparable productivity applications. - Exceptional writing and editing abilities to convert complex regulations, laws, and procedures into clear, learner-friendly content. - Strong visual design skills to create professional, accessible, and engaging digital and print materials. - Solid grasp of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design. - Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail and organization. - Effective collaboration and communication skills to work alongside subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. - Comfortable producing both digital and print-based instructional materials.

- Design, develop, and execute engaging, accurate, and scalable training programs for election officials and temporary election workers. - Translate complex federal and state election laws, regulations, and operational processes into practical learning experiences. - Create deliverables such as eLearning modules, facilitator and learner guides, job aids, quick-reference tools, microlearning content, PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, knowledge base articles, and handouts. - Utilize tools like Adobe Captivate, Adobe Learning Manager, Zendesk, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office to produce user-friendly content. - Blend technical writing with creative instructional design to ensure content is precise and suitable for diverse jurisdictions. - Support the transparency, accuracy, and efficiency of election operations by providing clear and effective training resources.
