Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of robust Analytics and Development experience
- Proficient in ArcGIS, including creating and publishing geoprocessing tasks using model builder
- Extensive experience developing ESRI-based Python scripts
- Ability to manage and create ArcGIS services
- Skilled in analyzing, defining, modeling, implementing, and maintaining feature classes, feature datasets, and spatial views
- In-depth development experience with Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
- Familiarity with Azure SQL functions and procedures
- Expertise in writing and troubleshooting complex queries, including implementing materialized views
- Experience working with REST APIs and manipulating data between services
- Knowledgeable in configuring websites and application pools, covering authentication, authorization, feature delegation, and handler mappings
- Proficient in troubleshooting IIS errors along with understanding IIS logging and failure tracing
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in C#
- Strong skills in SQL and Python scripting
- Experience writing and maintaining Power BI reports; a background in SRSS is advantageous
- Familiarity with solution architecture is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and develop geospatial solutions for both FI Optimization and GIS Modernization projects
- Provide deployment and ongoing support for developed geospatial solutions
- Create and publish geoprocessing tasks as necessary
- Develop and maintain ESRI-based Python scripts
- Manage ArcGIS services and ensure their functionality
- Analyze and maintain various geospatial data structures
- Write and troubleshoot complex queries for databases
- Work with REST APIs to facilitate data manipulation
- Configure web environments, ensuring proper authentication and authorization measures are in place
- Troubleshoot and resolve IIS errors, maintaining smooth server operation
- Collaborate with the team on Power BI reporting and solution architecture when needed
Description
We are actively seeking two experienced GIS Technical Analyst/Developers to join our team in Downtown Houston, TX. This position is projected to last for over 10 months and offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in geospatial solution design, development, deployment, and support.
