Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Strong expertise in Java development along with familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express.
- Practical experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs; knowledge of REST standards is critical.
- Understanding of front-end development practices including HTML5, CSS3, and React.js; familiarity with front-end build tools is advantageous.
- Experience in utilizing cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as GitHub, Git, and SVN to support collaborative development workflows.
- Strong database management skills using MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL queries is necessary.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies to efficiently deliver iterative enhancements.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components relevant to software deployment environments.
- Programming skills across multiple languages such as C#, C++, Python, and VBA; familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
- Experience with Linux operating systems for server-side application deployment.
- Understanding of security principles, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), to ensure secure application access controls.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop, test, and deploy effective web applications using Java, JavaScript, React, and Express frameworks.
- Design and create RESTful APIs to promote seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather and translate technical requirements into specifications.
- Maintain and improve existing software systems, using Ruby on Rails, .NET, C#, C++, Python, VBA, and other relevant technologies.
- Manage version control with SVN, GitHub, and Git to uphold code integrity and enhance collaboration.
- Optimize applications for exceptional speed and scalability across platforms, including Linux, Windows, and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
- Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom API solutions to boost application functionality.
- Engage in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prioritize application security by implementing RBAC policies and following best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development, quantum engineering, web development, IT infrastructure, and related fields.
