Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline - 5-7 years of experience in product management - 2+ years of delivering and enhancing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) - essential - Proven AI-first mindset - experience in developing AI/ML-powered features and utilizing modern AI tools in your workflow (research, analysis, prototyping, data exploration) - Strong technical proficiency - ability to understand API documentation, high-level system architecture, and engage meaningfully with engineers regarding feasibility and trade-offs - Prototyping expertise - proficiency in tools such as Figma, Framer, v0, Claude Artifacts, or similar; adept at moving beyond static wireframes to convey intentions - Analytical proficiency - familiarity with a contemporary analytics stack (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent), comfort with SQL, and experience in designing and interpreting A/B tests - Proven capability to manage stakeholder expectations across various levels, especially during prioritized shifts or challenging trade-offs - Willingness to explore new tools and methodologies - history of adopting new technologies to enhance productivity and guiding others in doing the same - Background in agile practices and modern software development approaches - Experience in crafting and prioritizing user stories - Background in competitive research and analysis - Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Retail or e-commerce experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

- Spearhead the advancement of the Rooms To Go mobile app as the primary customer interface, while ensuring a cohesive secondary channel - Advocate for an AI-centered development strategy - actively seek opportunities to integrate AI and ML capabilities (personalization, conversational commerce, visual search, smart recommendations, generative content, assisted checkout, etc.) into the shopping experience - Convert business objectives and customer requirements into a well-structured, prioritized product strategy and roadmap, leading with the app experience - Collaborate closely with engineering to evaluate technical feasibility regularly - comprehend architectural trade-offs, API limitations, and delivery risks to inform scope and sequencing decisions - Rapidly prototype to validate concepts before committing engineering resources - employ tools like Figma, Framer, v0, Claude Artifacts, and AI-assisted coding platforms to transform ideas into tangible, testable solutions - Utilize data effectively to pinpoint opportunities, establish KPIs, assess outcomes, and iterate - proficiency in analytics platforms, SQL, and experimentation frameworks is critical - Actively manage stakeholder expectations - provide transparent communication on progress, trade-offs, risks, and timelines to executives, directors, and cross-functional partners; proactively identify issues - Work alongside merchandising, creative, analytics, UX, and engineering teams to eliminate obstacles and ensure steady progress - Understand and champion user perspectives throughout discovery, delivery, and post-launch phases - Maintain curiosity and openness to new tools - consistently evaluate and implement new technologies, AI capabilities, and workflows that enhance efficiency; involve the team rather than work in isolation - Create and update essential PM documents (product vision, goals, success metrics, roadmap, PRDs) - Partner with engineering to define user stories, negotiate MVP scope with stakeholders, and deliver incrementally towards successful launches
