Must:
We require candidates to hold an active Secret Security Clearance. You should have a minimum of 6 years of practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS, and RHEL. A strong foundation in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is essential. Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby are necessary, along with robust experience in managing CI/CD pipelines in enterprise settings. A comprehensive understanding of networking components, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs is needed. We expect you to have demonstrated skills in diagnosing complex production challenges and a solid grasp of cloud security, compliance, and automation, encompassing Prisma Cloud, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and ATO processes.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be tasked with designing and scaling infrastructure in AWS with a focus on high availability and resilience. You'll automate deployments and configurations using Terraform and Ansible to enhance consistency and efficiency. Your role will also involve constructing and sustaining CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to ensure rapid and reliable software deliveries. You'll be responsible for containerizing and orchestrating applications using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as securing infrastructure and workloads with best practices in Prisma Cloud, IAM, network hardening, and continuous compliance monitoring. You will need to implement and uphold security baselines such as STIGs and CIS benchmarks while supporting disaster recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and operational continuity. Lastly, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with development, architecture, and security teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the lifecycle.

Experience with Databricks, RDS, and PostgreSQL is preferred, along with expertise in Big Data platforms such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, NiFi, Hadoop, and Spark. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices would also be advantageous. This is a full-time contract role, offering a salary between $110,000 and $170,000 per year, along with benefits such as 401(k), health and dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance. We also ask if you currently hold an active Secret clearance (or a higher level such as Top Secret or TS/SCI). This role offers a hybrid remote working option based in Washington, DC.
