Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field (Electrical, Software, Controls, Systems) with over 5 years of experience, OR
- Masters degree in a relevant engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, OR
- JD/PhD in Engineering
- The candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in control system and software development within a regulated setting,
- Familiarity with tools for requirements management, model-based systems engineering, PLM, configuration and change management, code generation, and software verification testing,
- Experience with FAA/MIL certification processes for safety-critical systems,
- Knowledge of Agile-Scrum methodologies,
- Leadership experience managing teams or program execution,
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in engine assembly, testing, and integration of test software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a cohesive project team of engineers to meet all program objectives, including accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and compliance.
- Allocate and manage necessary resources to meet stakeholder expectations, including setting individual performance targets and conducting reviews for team members.
- Develop, align, and integrate the teams work plan, considering the overall project scope and activities necessary to fulfill requirements.
- Identify, manage, and escalate project risks (technical, financial, supply chain, and scheduling) in accordance with the established risk management framework.
- Act as the primary contact for communicating pertinent information to stakeholders, sponsors, and clients.
