Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of product development engineering experience, OR - Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, OR - PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering - Proven experience in requirements management - Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible for consideration - 5+ years of product development engineering experience preferred - Familiarity with agile development methods for delivering engineering work products - Experience with military qualification and/or FAA certification of airborne systems, including gas turbine engine, propulsion, or electrical control systems - Demonstrated use of control system design and analysis tools - Experience in developing model-based systems with digital engineering toolsets (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink or equivalents) - Knowledge of systems engineering and robust design methodologies in line with model-centric development approaches - Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) or similar SysML modeling software

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to develop electrical, electronics, and mechatronics control system requirements, designs, and verification deliverables for safety-critical applications according to ARP4754A and relevant guidelines from DO-178C - Partner with various teams to uphold the highest standards of technical expertise, quality, professionalism, and teamwork - Offer engineering and process guidance, training, and documentation creation - Prepare and evaluate engineering work products for technical documentation, quality, and completeness - Tackle complex issues using acquired technical knowledge and experience - Articulate and convey intricate technical concepts and information in a clear and logical manner
