Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in software engineering or computer engineering (development or testing). Alternatively, a Master's degree in Engineering with experience in software engineering, or a PhD in Engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.
- Experience in embedded safety-critical software engineering and control systems is a must.
- Familiarity with model-based software design using Simulink is necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Control System Senior Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing safety-critical gas turbine engine control software to meet DO-178C compliance objectives.
- Providing software architecture support to enable software-to-software integration and testing, including product line methodologies.
- Developing and modifying processes and methods to help the team achieve compliance objectives and maintain an optimal development pace.
- Setting up and modifying continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks to facilitate the software development process for the team.
- Liaising with certification airworthiness authorities to explain our approaches, demonstrate compliance to objectives, and address audit findings.
