Requirements

Must:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, preferably within the Healthcare IT sector. - Extensive expertise in technology relevant to the role, alongside awareness of industry standards and trends. - A flexible leadership style that adapts to the diverse needs of customers, fostering positive relationships with teams, peers, and clients. - Capability to create a supportive and inclusive work atmosphere while effectively managing competing priorities and communicating across all organizational levels. - Proficiency in strategy, process enhancement, application design, project management, solution design, and technical domain expertise. - A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. - Preferred certifications include Epic Ambulatory and Cadence modules as well as MyChart.

Responsibilities

- Offer architectural guidance, direction, and industry insights to help build effective teams and tools that align with our organizational objectives. - Collaborate with leadership to proactively manage and suggest opportunities for optimization and process improvements. - Lead integrated discussions focused on problem identification, resolution options, and cross-team collaboration. - Work closely with stakeholders on intricate workflows, upgrades, system modifications, or enhancements, helping to clarify capabilities and crucial decisions. - Explain complex concepts and negotiate to build consensus when necessary. - Partner with leadership to establish and assess team goals and objectives, including delegation of tasks as appropriate. - Draft long-term technical roadmaps and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining IT tools and applications. - Evaluate, document, and present solution requirements, estimated durations, and risks based on design decisions in collaboration with leadership. - Conduct ongoing training to build expertise among team members. - Contribute input to management regarding hiring and performance coaching. - Manage projects or segments of projects as assigned, and develop presentations for leaders detailing relevant work, complex technical designs, risks, and actions. - Perform the duties of assigned team technicians as necessary.

This position will report to the Director and will serve as a key individual contributor and leader in Digital Healthcare. We are seeking a technically proficient individual who possesses both technical and functional capabilities. The ideal candidate will roadmap and optimize MyCharts while working on Epic and MyChart interoperability, as well as implementing system performance, designing workflows, collaborating with technical teams, and integrating third-party solutions within a large health system that encompasses 10 hospitals and over 2,300 physicians. This role is completely remote and offers a competitive salary range of $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more.
