Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role within the audio, electronics, automotive electronics, DJ/live sound, lighting, marine electronics, or related industry
- Proficient in troubleshooting technical consumer products over the phone within a structured support setting
- Strong familiarity with car audio, amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, live sound equipment, DJ gear, and marine audio
- Capable of managing 30-50 calls daily while delivering a professional and engaging phone presence
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and customer interaction
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High degree of accountability and follow-through in all customer interactions
- Proficient computer skills, able to navigate multiple systems during live calls
- Available to work full-time in our Inwood, NY office, Monday through Friday, with a commute of 45 minutes or less
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound technical support calls from customers
- Troubleshoot technical issues regarding setup, connectivity, installation, and product performance
- Assist customers in resolving issues with various audio products and related accessories
- Provide effective, professional, and courteous technical support focusing on resolution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain an enthusiastic and engaging demeanor during customer interactions
- Accurately document customer issues in our internal systems
- Respond to follow-up inquiries related to ongoing customer cases
- Identify and report recurring product issues or customer challenges to leadership
- Ensure strong ownership of cases and maintain professionalism in all interactions
- Use support tools like Zendesk and Aircall for managing cases and documentation
- Research technical specifications and manuals to provide effective solutions
- Collaborate within a structured team environment to meet performance expectations and goals
- Contribute to improved processes, documentation, and overall team success
