Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support roles
- Proficient in supporting Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities in hardware, software, and basic networking
- Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to differing deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of assisting users with varying technical skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience with Windows Server environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with printers and peripheral devices (preferred)
- Background in manufacturing or industrial IT (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Address help desk tickets and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software installations and upgrades
- Provide support for business applications including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Business Central, and other manufacturing-related systems
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including device setup and basic training
- Offer one-on-one support and training to end-users regarding hardware and software use
- Create and maintain user documentation such as training materials, FAQs, and procedural guides
- Support telecommunications systems, including office phones and mobile devices
- Assist with testing, deployment, and support of printers and other peripheral devices
- Proactively identify recurring technical issues and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and user experience
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with desktop and LAN technologies
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
