Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent blend of education and experience. - Relevant industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or VMware certifications are advantageous. - Over 5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or similar roles. - In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft enterprise environments. - Proficient in managing network infrastructure including VLANs, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies. - Experience in supporting Microsoft 365 environments (GCC High experience preferred). - Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V. - Background in overseeing enterprise endpoint management platforms (Intune, Endpoint Central, or similar). - Experience in supporting enterprise backup platforms and planning for disaster recovery. - Knowledge of enterprise deployment tools and automation scripting (PowerShell preferred). - Previous experience supporting infrastructure hosting enterprise applications or ERP systems is preferred. - Familiarity with NIST 800-171 or CMMC security frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Administer and manage Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure systems. - Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity infrastructure. - Provide support for virtualization technology such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Provision and sustain virtual machines and server resources. - Monitor infrastructure performance, system capacity, and service availability. - Execute patch management and security updates for servers and infrastructure systems. - Manage file services, storage systems, and health monitoring of systems. - Oversee enterprise backup platforms and verify backup integrity through periodic recovery tests. - Manage enterprise software deployment platforms, including PDQ Deploy and related tools. - Develop and maintain standardized software deployment packages for enterprise applications and OS updates. - Coordinate controlled releases of software updates and application upgrades across managed systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, including system configurations and architecture diagrams. - Provide support and maintain the network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPN, and wireless networks. - Configure and manage VLANs, routing, and subnetting. - Configure and uphold firewall policies, access rules, and network security measures. - Maintain network authentication systems that support secure wired and wireless access. - Support VoIP and other network-connected infrastructure, including cameras and related technologies. - Tackle network issues by maintaining and troubleshooting core services like DNS, DHCP, and routing. - Assist in structured cabling, patch panel management, and expansion projects for infrastructure. - Administer Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant services such as Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams. - Configure and uphold Conditional Access policies and secure authentication settings. - Provide escalated support for advanced issues related to Exchange Online and Teams. - Manage enterprise device management platforms including Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Central, ensuring compliance and security. - Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls following NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 requirements. - Collaborate with internal leaders and external compliance advisors on cybersecurity initiatives. - Serve as a Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalation resource for advanced infrastructure and system challenges. - Participate in on-call coverage for infrastructure alerts and critical incidents.
