Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Product, Design, Engineering, and Brand
- Strong background in design system ownership and evolution

- Ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies and business teams
- Knowledge of market research and innovation in design tools and workflows
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster team relationships and provide constructive feedback
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Brand teams to develop and manage the Gilead Digital Design System
- Maintain and continue to innovate design components, patterns, and visual assets for various platforms and product groups
- Translate the design system vision into actionable product strategies and a prioritized execution roadmap
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the success of the platform
- Create UI kits, reusable components, and comprehensive documentation to assist designers and engineers
- Promote the adoption of the Design System to ensure coherence and efficiency across digital platforms
- Gather, prioritize, and document platform requirements while managing interdependencies
- Track progress and mitigate risks, ensuring quality delivery and clear communication of project statuses to stakeholders
- Partner with agencies, engineering leaders, and business teams to align design system standards with enterprise needs
- Conduct continuous market research to identify and introduce innovative tools and processes into the design system
