Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk development, encompassing dashboards, knowledge objects, and SPL scripting
- Solid understanding of application development principles in an SDLC context
- Proven ability to write and optimize complex SPL queries for high-performance searches and analytics
- Experience working collaboratively with business and technical teams to determine Splunk use cases and data visualization needs
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and tailor Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet business and operational needs
- Collaborate closely with end users and stakeholders to translate their requirements into actionable Splunk use cases, dashboards, and visualizations
- Write, enhance, and maintain intricate SPL (Search Processing Language) queries for searches, correlations, alerts, and reporting while focusing on performance tuning
- Create and sustain Splunk knowledge objects such as saved searches, macros, lookups, tags, and event types to maintain an organized and efficient workspace
- Support the integration of data from various platforms, including AWS and OpenShift containers/pods, to enhance Splunks data ecosystem
