Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Java and Spring framework or a comparable technology
- Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating REST or GraphQL API services
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, HBase, and DynamoDB
- Understanding of OLAP databases such as BigQuery and Druid
- Knowledge of streaming data platforms like Kafka
- Expertise in distributed systems, stream processing, and data model design
- Proven capability to write reliable, scalable, and maintainable code
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with AI developer tools and Generative AI technologies is an advantage
- Experience with Python for AI-related workflows is a plus
- Exposure to cloud vendor platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is beneficial
- Frontend development experience is a bonus
- 3-5+ years of relevant backend software engineering experience
- Experience with cloud-native applications and containerization is valuable
- Understanding of database principles and SQL optimization is preferred
- Experience in event-driven service development is a major plus
- Background in big data technologies and AI technology is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a powerful and scalable big data insights framework to enhance AI-driven process automation and provide actionable insights
- Create solutions that merge cutting-edge Generative AI techniques with comprehensive data for optimal automation and user experience
- Design and implement both batch and near real-time data processing pipelines utilizing Spark, Flink, and BigQuery
- Construct efficient data models in relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Druid, BigQuery, and HBase
- Utilize cloud-native technologies to create top-notch backend platforms
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver functionality
- Lead design reviews for features or components and be recognized as the authority on the respective component
- Engage in architectural discussions, proposing and reviewing solutions for platform and product adaptations
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and foster a culture of excellence within the team
