Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site/System Reliability, DevOps, or similar fields
- Strong expertise in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiar with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or equivalent
- Knowledge of monitoring technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog
- Experience with CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiar with security practices related to IAM, encryption, and secrets management
- Understanding of incident management frameworks and SRE principles
- Knowledgeable in performance tuning and capacity planning
- Exposure to observability tools and log aggregation systems
- Awareness of networking and security basics
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Establish and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Objectives (SLOs), and Agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct post-incident analyses and implement preventative strategies
- Automate deployment, scaling, and operations using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage release processes
- Optimize infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Respond to production incidents while performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure robust system performance
- Maintain runbooks and operational documentation
- Partner with software developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to enhance system reliability
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes
- Advocate for proactive measures to minimize outages and reduce operational burdens
- Ensure compliance with security, compliance, and governance standards
- Take part in vulnerability assessments and remediation planning
