Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development
- 5+ years of practical experience with Power BI, including semantic modeling, dataflows, deployment pipelines, and workspace management
- Advanced expertise in Power BI cloud deployment and optimization
- 2+ years of experience in building Direct Lake models
- Proficient in sourcing, modeling, and optimizing data within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)
- Strong skills in Advanced DAX, semantic modeling, and performance tuning
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions swiftly
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and enhance Power BI semantic models utilizing Direct Lake and ADLS Gen2 data sources
- Develop engaging, high-quality dashboards in Power BI Desktop and publish them via Power BI Service workspaces
- Connect, model, and process data from ADLS Gen2 and Azure-based architectures
- Act as the technical authority for Power BI governance, deployment pipelines, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with design, data engineering, and business teams to transform requirements into effective, production-ready dashboards
- Independently resolve modeling, performance, and data integration challenges in a cloud setting
