Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of the .Net framework and its security functionalities
- Proficient in various security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques
- Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Capability to analyze security incidents and formulate effective response strategies
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices (preferred)
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions (preferred)
- Knowledge of programming languages like C# or Java (preferred)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are considered advantageous (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect our information assets
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to detect vulnerabilities and suggest remediation actions
- Collaborate with IT teams to embed security measures into the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to secure coding practices
- Monitor network traffic for irregularities and promptly address security incidents
- Facilitate training and awareness initiatives for employees about cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats
- Stay informed about the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity to strengthen our organizations security posture
- Contribute to the formulation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Partner with stakeholders to guarantee compliance with applicable regulations and standards
