Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 10 years of experience in .NET development
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework/Core
- Proven experience in designing RESTful APIs and web services
- Proficiency with SQL Server and creating complex queries and stored procedures
- Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is advantageous
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using the ASP.NET framework
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
- Implement authentication and authorization protocols for APIs, including OAuth2 and JWT
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to maintain code quality
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and APIs
