Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in on-premises data center infrastructure including networking, storage, and virtualization
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Route 53
- Demonstrated experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Practical knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Basic programming and scripting capabilities in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead the shift from on-premises infrastructure to AWS, focusing on migrating Artifactory instances and repositories
- Execute staged migrations to guarantee continuous service availability and zero downtime for CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for cloud resource management
- Utilize configuration management tools to automate system setups, ensure consistency, and facilitate ongoing maintenance
- Integrate Artifactory with AWS security services, adhering to best practices for identity management and data protection
- Provide support for daily Artifactory functions, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and incident response
- Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to deliver dependable and high-performance solutions
- Assess and incorporate additional migration and modernization initiatives into our roadmap
- Optimize CI/CD pipeline automation and configuration management to enhance development and deployment processes
- Create and sustain thorough documentation, including operational runbooks and process guides
