Python and R developer

- Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation processes - In-depth knowledge of the systems development life cycle - Proficiency in databases such as SQL, DB2/Netezza, or SQL Server - Strong background in developing and programming Information Technology solutions using Python - Capability to document systems, conduct unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and maintain internally developed applications - Experience in evaluating and testing the performance of purchased products - Understanding of IT controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data - Excellent comprehension of RESTful architecture - Ability to methodically assess various libraries to meet business and technical requirements - Strong skills in R and Python programming, along with necessary libraries - Demonstrated experience working with REST APIs using Python - Proven track record in processing batch files with Python - Experience scheduling batch processes effectively - Proficient in standard office applications, such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio - High-level critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and provide solutions aligned with business objectives - 3+ years of relevant work experience in technical design and coding in the IT sector - 3+ years of experience with R and SQL/Stored Procedures.
