Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Consideration of equivalent experience is accepted
- Demonstrable experience as a Python Developer with a robust portfolio of projects
- Strong proficiency in Python and associated frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous
- Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
Responsibilities
- Craft clean, scalable, and efficient Python code for diverse applications
- Design and develop applications with high availability and low latency
- Create RESTful APIs and facilitate integration with third-party services
- Collaborate with front-end teams to merge user-facing elements with server-side functionality
- Partner with data science teams to implement data processing pipelines
- Develop algorithms and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Conduct data analysis and derive insights utilizing Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
- Integrate Python applications with various backend services, including databases and caching systems
- Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented
- Develop and maintain unit tests and engage in code review processes
- Enhance application performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions for resolution
- Continuously refine the codebase to guarantee maintainability and scalability
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and deliver quality solutions
- Participate actively in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers
