Requirements
Must:
- Strong professional experience with Python (must be clearly demonstrated in resume)
- Solid background in software engineering, including Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code, and testable architectures
- Experience with image processing and computer vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, Pillow)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- OCR-related experience (such as Tesseract, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR, or custom models)
- Familiarity with object detection techniques (such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, etc.)
- Knowledge of classification, feature extraction, and evaluation metrics for vision tasks
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus Microsoft ADO Testing Module
- A bachelors degree in business management or information systems, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical choices and trade-offs

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Machine Learning-based computer vision components including object detection and image classification models
- Develop robust, production-ready Python code following strong Object Oriented Design (OOD) principles
- Collaborate with system architects to integrate Machine Learning components into a distributed, message-driven architecture
- Implement data-driven training, evaluation, and feedback loops for OCR and image classifiers
- Optimize model performance for near real-time transaction workflows, focusing on latency and throughput
- Participate in system-level design discussions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adaptability
- Work closely with database, API, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and testing
- Build comprehensive frameworks and systems beyond proof-of-concept notebooks
- Fully document all work related to the position, including designs, test plans, and best practices
- Maintain effective working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Lead and contribute to project team activities related to enterprise systems
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks and duties
- Adhere to and follow all PTC standards, policies, and procedures
- Utilize various software tools to perform job duties
- Perform additional tasks related to the position as assigned by PTC
