Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience managing intricate IT projects.
- Strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
- Hands-on experience with application and data integration initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) methodologies.
- Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery models (preferably with a strong Waterfall focus).
- Proven capability to independently manage mid-to-large scale IT projects.
- Experience with project and portfolio management software such as MS Project, Planview, and SharePoint.
- Strong skills in vendor management and communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to convert business requirements into IT deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Oversee intricate IT projects utilizing Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Supervise all project phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and final delivery.
- Ensure that project outputs are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Create and update project documentation, including charters, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and communication plans.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to determine project scope, timelines, and requirements.
- Work with business analysts and architects to convert business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Monitor project performance and apply corrective measures when necessary.
- Provide consistent project updates, metrics, and risk evaluations to leadership and executives.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure they meet project deliverables.
- Identify and handle dependencies across different projects.
- Ensure adherence to audit, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Support additional project initiatives when needed.
