Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in deploying security solutions within Azure, particularly focusing on authentication and authorization, MFA, and SSO.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD B2C, associated authentication and authorization components, and security protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities, particularly in PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Excellent grasp of cloud security principles.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure Sentinel for monitoring, alerts, and automation tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to effectively resolve IAM-related issues.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment and adapt to changing security challenges.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to upholding a secure, compliant, and scalable IAM framework.
- Overall 4+ years of experience in Azure AD Security engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee Azure Active Directory solutions to ensure secure and efficient authentication and authorization processes, adhering to industry best practices.
- Facilitate the onboarding of applications, including app registration, enterprise application configuration, and role-based access management (RBAC).
- Lead the rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) to bolster security measures.
- Configure and troubleshoot authentication protocols, such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML, ensuring secure access control.
- Set up and manage conditional access policies to regulate access based on specific circumstances, locations, and device compliance.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to support and resolve IAM-related challenges, ensuring that solutions remain secure, compliant, and scalable.
- Stay informed about security best practices for Azure products, services, and solutions.
- Utilize Azure Sentinel for monitoring services, alert creation, and developing automation scripts for incident response.
- Provide production support by responding to and resolving security incidents promptly.
- Establish and uphold identity governance frameworks, including privileged identity management (PIM) for advanced access.
- Stay up-to-date on Azure advancements, security threats, and industry best practices to enhance our security framework.
- Work closely with DevOps and development teams, demonstrating a foundational understanding of relevant tools and requirements.
