Google Cloud Data Migration Lead

- Act as the Data Migration team lead for a significant data and application transition to the Google Cloud platform - Oversee the teams end-to-end data architecture and migration strategy to assist the migration initiative and future client projects on Google Cloud - Collaborate closely with the broader Google Cloud migration leadership to ensure successful application and data transfers - Design and construct data pipelines: Build and maintain dependable and scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools - Create and manage data storage solutions: Implement data warehousing and data lake solutions using Google Cloud products - Ensure the reliability and accuracy of data: Establish and uphold protocols for data governance and quality control - Optimize data solution performance and cost: Monitor data frameworks and pipelines to mitigate performance issues - Work alongside data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications - Automate and manage workflows: Streamline data operations and manage intricate workflows - Enforce data security: Design and implement data security measures using Google Cloud Platform IAM and best practices - Maintain comprehensive documentation: Develop and sustain clear documentation for data processes and architecture
