Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
- Over 7 years of experience in Embedded Development and/or Embedded Test Development
- Proficiency in C# with a working knowledge of C/C++
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and automation principles including regression, functional, unit, black box, and white box testing
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and circuit analysis
- Capability to comprehend basic mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation to enhance efficiency and test coverage
- Develop both manual and automated test procedures for low power, high reliability industrial process control devices
- Support fellow team members in delivering high-quality products
- Work in collaboration with other teams (Firmware, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) to promote a unified environment
- Organize and maintain a backlog of tasks within an Agile framework
- Record, track, and analyze defects to identify root causes
- Monitor, debug, and improve the automated test infrastructure
- Execute project and product documentation in alignment with departmental and company standards
- Read and interpret engineering and industry standards for implementation
