Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Over 9 years of experience in ETL development and data engineering
- In-depth practical knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and SQL scripting
- Proficient in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and CloudWatch
- Strong programming expertise in Python or Scala for data processing
- Familiar with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- (Preferred) Snowflake certification
- (Preferred) Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- (Preferred) Understanding of data governance and security best practices
- (Preferred) Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance ETL workflows and data pipelines utilizing Snowflake and AWS services
- Implement data ingestion from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and flat files
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data throughout all ETL processes
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to clarify data requirements
- Monitor and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and performance
- Automate data workflows and apply CI/CD practices for the deployment of data pipelines
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data models, and data flow diagrams
