- Perform data analysis to meet key business objectives
- Document ETL processes and data models for transparency
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows and scripts
- Monitor ETL processes for reliability and performance
- Collaborate with database administrators for data modeling and application development
- Create reporting solutions based on user requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues swiftly
- Develop APIs for data access and system integration
- Engage with GIS analysts and stakeholders to identify data needs
- Participate in requirement definition and system design discussions
- Assist with the migration and maintenance of database objects
- Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity
- Define data testing strategies alongside development and QA teams
- Support software testing processes to identify and fix defects
- Contribute to technical reviews and presentations as needed
- Provide accurate time estimates for development tasks
- Mentor development team members on database issues
- Communicate project updates effectively with all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with best practices and security protocols
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for organization-wide adoption
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to enhance development processes
