Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in 3Scale API Management Administration is essential
- Prior hands-on experience in API management platforms, including API Gateway
- Expertise in requirement analysis, solution architecture, and design of APIs
- Proficient in developing API policies
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ISTIO Service Mesh
- At least 3 years of experience in creating and maintaining design documentation, such as use cases and sequence diagrams
- Capability to perform routine administration tasks, including patching, software deployment, changes implementation, and server configuration
- Knowledgeable in configuring and maintaining Red Hat 3scale API Gateway Engineer virtual appliances
- Strong understanding of JSON, JWT, and JWKS as well as their respective specifications
- Familiar with various RFC 6749 OAuth Grant Flows
- Experience in integrating API Gateway using REST APIs
- Knowledge of Red Hat Single Sign-On and Red Hat OpenShift
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the OpenShift Infrastructure Lead
- Overseeing daily API management tasks
- Conducting requirement analysis and developing effective solution architecture
- Designing and implementing API policies
- Maintaining and updating design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams
- Performing regular system administration such as patching and software deployment
- Configuring and supporting Red Hat 3scale API Gateway Engineer virtual appliances
- Integrating API Gateway with RESTful services
