Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles
- Strong practical knowledge in Azure (IaaS, PaaS, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps, VNets, ExpressRoute) and Google Cloud (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Spanner, IAM, VPC)
- Proven success in cloud migrations, modernization, and multi-cloud strategies
- Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and microservices architectures
- Solid skills in Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- In-depth understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities
- Nice to have: Certifications in Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud cost optimization
- Experience with multi-cloud monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of hybrid/multi-cloud solutions across Azure and Google Cloud
- Drive cloud migration strategies from on-premises to Azure and Google Cloud, including application modernization and re-platforming
- Define reference architectures, cloud landing zones, and governance models ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Design and implement secure and scalable network architectures (VPC, VNets, Shared VPC, Hub-and-Spoke, VPN, Interconnect, ExpressRoute)
- Oversee the deployment of data and analytics platforms (BigQuery, Dataflow, Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Cloud Spanner)
- Apply DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices utilizing Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Establish security best practices leveraging IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, KMS, Security Command Center, Defender for Cloud, and Azure AD
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, guiding solution design, cost optimization, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into strategic cloud solutions
