Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in business analysis for software development initiatives
- Ability to prepare various project-related documentation
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent analytical abilities and communication skills in English (including technical writing)
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and prototyping tools like Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure
- Experience in hands-on requirements elicitation and client management
- Knowledge of technical documentation practices including traceability and use cases
- Expertise in data modeling and creating prototypes
- Capability to conduct interactive sessions with business and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical background for assessing Production Support issues and determining root causes
- Familiarity with key business drivers and assisting clients in problem-solving
- Experienced in developing and documenting design specifications and business processes
- Skills in defining functional design and system specifications
- Ability to prepare and review project packages
- Involvement in user acceptance testing and training activities
- Experience working in Mainframe environments and with technologies like COBOL, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Data Warehousing
- Knowledge of Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS)
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with the Oil and Gas industry and related compliance projects
- Proven ability to work effectively in diverse teams and navigate challenging situations
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
- CCBA, CBAP, or equivalent certification
Responsibilities
- Facilitate software development projects through thorough business analysis
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage client relationships
- Develop technical documents to support project objectives, including traceability and use cases
- Conduct prototype creation and data modeling activities
- Lead interactive sessions to elicit business and functional requirements
- Analyze Production Support issues and document solutions for system corrections
- Develop an understanding of business drivers and assist with identifying solutions
- Create design documents and workflows for business processes
- Define functional designs and systems specifications for projects
- Prepare, review, and deliver completed project packages
- Guide business units through user acceptance testing and training processes
- Contribute to process improvement strategies across technology and business operations
