Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps practices
- Proficient in Linux and Windows administration, including IIS management
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or on-premise server infrastructure, with a preference for Azure
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) technologies
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker
- Experience with automation tools
- Knowledge of Ansible, Nginx, and web concepts like REST APIs and SPAs
- Proven expertise in SQL and database administration (SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with application development tools (e.g., GIT, Visual Studio/Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and operational reporting
- Knowledge of security standards and patterns in system design
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to adapt to new challenges with a positive attitude
- Effective time management across multiple projects
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices applications utilizing message queues and related technologies
- Manage and administer Linux and Windows environments, including IIS
- Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure, with a focus on Azure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Utilize container technologies to streamline development and deployment processes
- Implement automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to improve system security and performance
- Perform database administration and optimization tasks
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing and QA
- Use monitoring tools to analyze operational metrics and report on performance
- Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments
- Take on challenges in a dynamic environment while keeping a positive mindset
